II. GENERAL INTRODUCTION

2.1 Introduction

An Toan V.N Co., Ltd is one of the pioneers in the fire prevention and fighting field in Vietnam with its predecessor as the Fire Prevention and Fighting Establishment located at 6 Pham Ngu Lao, Ward 4, Go Vap from 1995; due to increasingly higher technical requirements, up to 2005, we established An Toan V.N specializing in a number of fields.

CONSULTANCY-DESIGN-CONSTRUCTION-SUPPLY-MAINTENANCE

-        Consultancy, designing the fire prevention and fighting system for construction works with practice certificate specializing in fire prevention and fighting system designing

-        Construction of fire prevention and fighting system (water supply pipes for fire prevention and fighting, automatic fire alarming)

-        Construction of the automatic fire prevention and fighting system CO2, FOAM, FM200

-        Construction of the arrestor system (direct, spread)

-        System repairing and maintenance contracts (water supply pipes for fire prevention and fighting, automatic fire alarming, fire extinguisher, pump for fire prevention and fighting)

-        Wholesale and retail fire prevention and fighting equipment: rapid water cutter for the automatic fire prevention and fighting sprinkle (shutgun) as the sole agent of Canada in Vietnam; pump, types of extinguishers, smoke alarming, beam alarming, fire alarming central cabinet, arrestor equipment……

Currently, our company has the staff cadre including highly technical engineers and workers in management, designing, supervision, and construction in the fire prevention and fighting field who have kept researching, updating, and grasping the advanced technical scientific knowledge in the world in combination with the appropriate design and selection of each equipment for each fire prevention and fighting situation. Priorities include installation as per the right technical process, absolute assurance for the system to be ready in the most optimal operation to meet the increasingly higher demands of customers.

An Toan V.N Company has conducted research for many years to select the products of prestigious factories in line with the domestic and international standards like SHUTGUN of Canada, NETWORX, PARAGON, HOCHIKI of the US, PENTAX of Italy, TOHASU of Japan, ARORA of South Korea, INGESCO, LEADER of Portuguese and STORMASTER of France…..

From the national perspective, we tightly coordinate with Fire Prevention Bureau, fire prevention

and fighting Department of Public Security of provinces and cities, state administration bodies in the field of fire prevention and fighting as the units with the practice certificate in designing, and construction of fire prevention and fighting systems and works. At present, we have been constructing typical works in many provinces nationwide.

+ Director

Responsible for the general management of the company as a whole, direction and coordination of the works upon departments, direct handling the foreign affairs, business activities, accounting and finance.

+ Deputy Director

Support Director in managing the general affairs of the company as a whole, responsible for reporting to Director. To undertake the organization, personnel, regulations, business operations, partners relationship, finance and accounting and treasury operations directly.

+ Business department

-        To undertake the business operations and development of the company, responsible for reporting to the Director and Deputy Director. Coordinate directly with Director and Deputy Director along with the Engineering and Accounting Department.

-        Directly to undertake the reception, market analysis, finding customers, expand business market for the company.

-        Make up a tracking schedule of customer service periodically to find out fluctuations of the market, and timely work out an appropriate business plan thereupon.

-        To propose and advise the Director, support other departments in doing business, marketing, advising, planning as well as doing business operations.

-        Marketing staffs shall report weekly in writting, to undertake one’s work at daily working hours and report thereupon.

+ Engineering department

To be in charge of know-how, and be responsible for reporting to Director and Deputy Director. Coordinate with the Departments of Business, Finance and Accounting, and Treasury operations to work out solutions. Directly undertake the survey, design, extraction of materials cost estimates and construction supervision.

+ Finance and Accounting Department

To undertake the Finance and Accounting, responsible for reporting to Director and Deputy Director. Coordinate with the Departments of Business, Engineering and Treasury upon one’s work. Directly undertake the finance and accounting affairs as well as make up quotation.

+ Treasury Department

To undertake the treasury operations, responsible for reporting to Director and Deputy Director. Coordinate with the Departments of Business, Engineering, Finance and Accounting upon one’s work. Directly undertake the treasury operations, department, quotation and retail business.

+ Construction department

To undertake the construction operations, responsible for reporting to Director and Deputy Director and Chief of Engineer as well. Coordinate with the Departments of Engineering and Treasury upon one’s work. Directly undertake, organize and deploy operations of the construction team.

Upon any issues arising in work management that will be arranged, coordinated and assigned by Director.

3.3 Personal capacity

The company has a large team of undergraduate engineers and technicians who are formal staffs and permanently at work. Apart from the major force who are officers of the Company, but also combines with a team of human satellite additionally, depending on the the nature of work of each project that it shall mobilize manpower accordingly.
